Reluctant to get on my knees

Today I needed to plug something into a UPS under the kitchen table. I'm thinking of keeping kneepads as part of my routine, since I needed to crawl from the kitchen to the bedroom, where I was able to lever myself off the floor. Any ideas to build my strength up to go from one knee to both knees in a squat? It was a hard time crawling on my bare knees. Not looking forward to switching more of the cords later in the week.

Reluctant to get on my knees

I have a bit of trouble getting up sometimes thanks to my hip, so I'll bring a light chair or something in with me to help with getting up off my knees

Here are some ideas. Push the table out of the way. Pre position a chair to help get up. Plug an outlet strip into the ups so you never have to get to the plugs in the back ever again. And if you are going to crawl keep a blanket handy so you can put it under your knees and slide it under you, assuming that you have a smooth floor.
To build up strength you could use straps or ropes hanging from something that you can pull on to help you get up. But how or where to mount those I don't know. Look around for things that are sturdy that you can use instead. That would help build your strength. Good luck. And remember, you're awesome.
